Skin is a very sensitive and protective layer of the human body which is exposed to environmental pollution hence, it is very essential to protect the skin. The facial skin can be protected by applying various cosmetics intended specially for facial application, It can be a cream, lotion face mask or peel off mask etc. Peel off mask is the type of dosage form which is gently applied onto the facial skin surface and is peeled off after few minutes of its application. It is used as the remedy to treat facial skin related problems such as wrinkles, ageing, acne and mainly used to open the closed pores due to deposition of dust. Its main role is to Stimulate the metabolism due to its occlusive effect. Activated charcoal is being added as an active ingredient in this formulation. The most important characteristic of an activated carbon is its adsorbant activity. Using it as an active ingredient in peel off mask, it adds to its value by enhancing the role of peel off mask by absorbing dust particles and opening the clogged pores. Literature survey reveals many papers related to formulation of herbal peel off masks, but no any reported paper was found on Activated Charcoal peel off mask. In this paper, we have formulated Activated Charcoal peel off mask and Evaluated it by using various tests methods. The formulation showed overwhelming results after its application on healthy female volunteers. Keywords: Activated Charcoal, Peel off masks.

The objective of this work is to formulate and evaluate a polyherbal face pack for glowing and acne free skin by using natural ingredients. With the varying quantity five different formulations containing neem powder, multani mitti, sandal wood powder, turmeric, almond powder and orange peel powder were prepared as F1 to F5. All prepared formulations were evaluated for its organoleptic, physico-chemical parameter and stability along with irritancy test and microbial load. Among formulation, F2 was found to be good in physical parameters, free from skin irritation maintained its consistency even after storage conditions and also having microbiological stability. The main advantage of herbal face pack is its non-toxic nature, reduce the allergic reactions and time tested usefulness of many ingredients used in it.

The present study explored that evaluation of in vitro anti urolithiatic activity of Elaeocarpus ganitrus. It was observed that the highest calcium oxalate crystals dissolution was observed in the Methanol extract of Elaeocarpus ganitrus. It was found that Methanol extract of Elaeocarpus ganitrus has more efficient to dissolve calcium oxalate. It clearly shows that it was very efficient and more than the standard drug. In this study neeri was used as standard drug. Keywords: Anti urolithiatic activity, Methanol extract, Elaeocarpus ganitrus

The investigation was carried out to determine the possible bioactive components of methonolic extracts of Panicum antidotale (whole plant) using Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometry (GC-MS). All the samples were dried firstly at 60°C for 2 days in an oven after that leave it on room temperature. They were then macerated to powder form with a mixer grinder. The powder was stored in air sealed polythene bags at room temperature before extraction. The chemical compositions of the methonolic extracts of P. antidotale were investigated using Thermo G C 1300 and “TSQ 8000 “Triple quadrupole GC-MS MS SYSTEM with auto sampler Al 1310 Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometry, while the mass spectra of the compounds found in the extract was matched with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) library. GC-MS analysis of the extract reveals the identification of forty nine compounds. This is the first report of identification of components from the whole plant of P. antidotale by GC-MS. Most of the compounds in the list are bioactive and possess medicinal properties.. Keywords: Panicum antidotale, Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometry, Bioactive components.

Urolithiasis is a very common problem that are caused in worldwide population. The present study was to evaluate anti urolithiatic activity of leaves of Alysicarpus monilifer. In this study we are using neeri as a standard drug. As this study reveals that the alcoholic (Methanolic) extract showing significant effect in kidney stone reduction. It reduces the kidney stone formation. The methanolic extract of Alysicarpus monilifer effectively dissolves calcium oxalate stones.. Keywords: Methanolic extract, Alysicarpus monlifer leaves, Neeri, tris buffer.
